I have read with dismay the proposal to build on the land that is now the allotments.  We have lived in Mile Oak for 50 years and when younger we held an allotment. These bring so much pleasure to people and a great deal of hard work goes into owning and maintaining them.

There is also the factor of wild life and the surrounding fields which we call our "Mini Nature Reserve"  We have followed the progress of the wild life for many years and we have such abundance of butterflies flora and reptiles on this site that it is worth preserving.

I think that the local inhabitants of Mile Oak really appreciate this area!
