We so very excited now we have acquired our new 1/2 plot at St.Louie Allotments.  We will be growing our own fruit and vegetables primarily for our animals' diet (rabbits and guinea pigs)  at our LUMPY LODGE Rescue Sanctuary in Portslade.  We will also be utilising the produce from our allotment to help with our fundraising campaigns ie jams, chutneys, pickles.  Were just in the process of setting our plot up and in the next couple of weeks will see a lot of activity from local support....the only thing is I cant find a Potting Shed for love nor money as we are a charity sadly we cannot run to the costs of this from a garden centre or new build and they are hard to come by as we would prefer this to a greenhouse.  One volunteer has suggested asking around onsite! L@@king very much forward to our future allotment with glee!
